I'm Still Alive
I'm still alive. I'm not dead. This is an actively maintained website.
Would it surprise anyone to learn I still haven't figured out exactly what to do with this site? Or found much impetus.

It's not like I haven't written about Linux before.
I've been using it for years now, would I recommend it? Who to?
I'm probably going to switch to CachyOS at some point in the near future. How's that gonna go?

I love video games! I play a lot of them. Why not write about that? Why not, here's an idea: make one?

I do quite like photography. Maybe post some of those photos here?

Writing code is how I pay the bills. I've written about it here before. Maybe write more about it! Maybe progress some personal projects beyond just the website.
đ¤ AI
I'm a bit of an AI luddite. I see an AI feature pushed on me, I immediately look for a way to turn it off. I think basically there are two things going on.
- A lot of AI products pushed on the public suck. There are plenty of good reasons for turning this stuff off, and fair enough.
- Some AI tools, if used carefully, are actually quite useful for software development, specifically. Or so people tell me.
Like it or not, AI skills are in demand, and as much as I'd love for AI to go away, it seems here to stay. At some point, I'm going to have to properly get to grips with it. Just to better understand it if nothing else.
That, or quit software development.
Either way, there's a post in it, I reckon.

More than anything else, I think I should just try to post more here. A post doesn't need to be an article. It doesn't need to be well thought out either.
Importantly: no one has to read it.
